-   First Parishioners and friends gather at noon in the parlor most Mondays for conversation and creative handwork, including the knitting of prayer shawls given to others in times of stress that they may be surrounded by the love of God and of First Parish. They also create many items for children in need.

Coffee with Tom Wintle & Bristol Huffman  
    1:30 - 2:30 PM, Bruegger's in Weston Center (next to the OMNI Market)
-   Meet up with Tom and Bristol at Bruegger's for coffee and conversation on Mondays from 2:00-3:00 pm to chat about church or anything else you'd like to talk about. They are also available at other times, in the office or elsewhere - just let them know you'd like to meet.

Council of Christian Churches in the UUA – "See, I am Doing a New Thing: Next Steps for UU Christians"

-   As "spiritual but not religious" becomes a mantra of American society, there are also fresh, green shoots growing from within Christianity. Are those new ideas coming from the Unitarian Universalist movement or are UUs being left behind in this dawning of ideas? Please come and join a conversation about what is emerging from without and within the UUA
-   There will be a talk and communion service led by Rev. Mark J.T. Caggiano, Minister of the First Church in Chestnut Hill and current Chair of the Board of Trustees
