Kristallnacht Observance  
    8:00 PM, First Parish Front Lawn
-   Kristallnacht – "the night of broken glass," when in Germany November 9 and 10, 1938, Nazi hooligans broke Jewish shop windows, desecrated temples, and sowed the fear that would produce the Holocaust. All are invited to this brief and important commemoration.
-   We will gather on the front lawn of the church to commemorate Kristallnacht. In the cold and dark, we will light candles, toll our bell, and pledge never to remain silent in the presence of hatred, bigotry, and injustice.
